Car Hire

We're flying into Miami on the 26th July, returning 1st September.

It goes without saying that the car hire that we've reserved with Dollar has cost more than my first car 🤣

Anyone had any experience with Turo.com ?

I'd recommend looking at some of the 3rd party suppliers mentioned on here as we have found them to be half the price compared to looking online.

Never heard of them, but had a look via your link, prices are attractive but not sure that it comes with the insurance that we require.
Sure someone with a bit more knowledge will reply shortly

Personally wouldn't touch them with a 20' barge pole.

Absolutely no insurance included unless you add it separately after booking - at what cost.

Stick with a UK broker especially Andy at DFCH.

PS You should always be wary of booking through a USA site as it will be highly likely that they will include no insurance. USA drivers usually have hire car insurance included in their basic driving insurance.

Ahh Turo.

Welcome Sir, here is your 1982 Toyota with only 320000 Miles on the clock. Please look after it for me.
