$200 per day would cover it and you’d likely have a little left over for other things if you didn’t visit the more expensive places every day

I agree. Just got back having spent two weeks in florida - 2A 2k. 200 dollars a day should be more than enough...

Strangely, we budget the same... $200 a day for 2 adults plus boys of 15 and 12.

I note that you have wisely devised a tactic to avoid parking charges.

Have a wonderful holiday.

Just back and I too would say $200 a day (we stayed in a villa so had fuel and necessity’s like toilet paper to pay for too). This is what we budgeted, some days we spent less so we ended up paying a wee unplanned visit to the Outlets and got lots of bargains without going over.

Were going for 19 days and have budgeted $200 a day. We're onsite with the dining for 6 of those days so only have to factor in tips on those days. The kids also have their own spending money, they're 10 & 12. We went for 17 days last time and spilt $200 into envelopes and came home with $500 (secretly hoping that happens this year as we're going to NYC in November lol)

Remember at Universal, you can ask for free iced water. We bought one of the tiny bottles of concentrated diluting squash to put in as our youngest won’t drink it plain. You could also get the kids the reusable cups with free refills to save some money. We spent a fortune on drinks the first time we went.

Hi. If you are very careful I think you could do it for less than $200. Cheap breakfasts in the room bought from supermarkets. Take a pack up in to the park for lunch or everyone have a kids meal, then a cheap dinner place like Cicis pizza or sweet tomatoes or even Golden Corral. We are 2 adults and a 10 year old and we have $100 per day. We do have a few gift cards towards meals so we have a little more in reality, but we have done it on $100 per day before easily. Some restaurants have early bird offers. Outback Steakhouse do a steak and a drink for $10 and it was lovely. You just have to search out the deals if you are on a lower budget, but you can still have a great time. Groupon have a good Cicis offer on at the moment and travelzoo had a good deal on Hash House a GoGo.
