Rain!
Currently 10:30am and we are huddled in the Magic Kingdom as it is BELTING it down. There was pretty much 5 solid hours of rain from 12pm on Wednesday, a few hours solid yesterday. Is this normal?
We came 2 years ago and got an hour or so most afternoons but this is something else! |

We got back last week, and have to say there was more rain than usual for the time of year.
Had both a Happy Ever After and Fantasmic performance cancelled due to rain, and 4th July Fireworks at Epcot were also delayed approximately 45 minutes. They ran an abbreviated Fantasmic, with lights, water, lasers and fireworks, no characters or projections, which was quite cool. Hope OP has better weather for rest of hols, |

Yak it’s horrible when it’s the persistent rain and not just the hour shower. If it’s any consolation and I know it’s not much of one but it’s raining here too. I’d rather be in the rain where you are though. Hope it stops for you soon, and enjoy the rest of your hols.

Take it on the chin
We had to content with Hurricane Irma actually hitting Disney last year. The parks were closed for 2 days. 100+ mph winds hitting All Star Movies and making the windows and doors flex was certainly something. |

We came back yesterday after 16 nights. Only twice in the whole trip did rain impact and the only bad thunder storm we saw was Wednesday.
It’s very localised so there might be rain at Disney but nothing in universal.

It did rain this morning but pretty much bypassed our house. We are now in AK and have only had a very light drizzle. It is actually quite pleasant with the clouds and 82 instead of 95 degrees!
