Sad News - Passing Of A Dibb Member.

It’s with great sadness I learnt of the passing of Dibb Member ‘Louli’ on the 16th January due to this dreadful Covid disease that strikes in such a random and devastating manner.

Jim was only 57 and leaves behind a heartbroken Family and on behalf of this entire Community I passed on our deepest sympathy and also love to his Wife and 12-year-old Daughter. A Dibb Member ‘bettycat’ who is in contact with them will ensure they see this post and the responses

In his own words Jim was a car fanatic and since joining the Dibb in 2010 has been a stalwart of the Car Forum. An individual who always freely gave of his time and the knowledge he had gained through his Florida holidays. However, he was also a fan of Anna Maria Island and would post great advice and tips on dining and experiences he had enjoyed.

His sense of humour and his desire to help others shone through in his posts and he regularly engaged in humorous banter with the regulars who in more normal times spend their time on there. For example, Me, Mick, Tspill, DuncanB, Greyfriars and many others and we will all miss him greatly.

His Family whilst in total shock and grieving wish to pass on their thanks to the amazing Doctors and Nurses of the I.C.U at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital who gave such excellent and compassionate care.

‘Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished’.
