Who ‘doesn’t’ miss hugs?

I often hear people saying they really miss hugging other people due to lockdown, but I don’t miss hugs at all because I’m not really a hugger.

I hate all this hugging people and kissing cheeks especially when they’re not close family, but I know its the done thing nowadays (I’m getting old).

So am I alone in not being a hugger?

But that’s probably because you are half cut most of the time and you likely even tell the man in the off licence you’ve never met before that you love him (you remind me of Patsy off Ab fab).

I do love the man in the off licence, he waves to me when I drive past.

I’m not a hugger! I need a huge bubble round me as I hate people getting too close to me in general not just hugging! I tense up like a scared cat and break out in a cold sweat 😂 I just hate people I think. Only my parents, husband and daughter can hug me!

I can understand you not wanting to hug me because for one you would never get your arms around me because I am the size of fat basket (plus I fart alot), but it does upset me that you wouldn’t want to hug a friendly gender neutral monkey who was abandoned in Ruislip woods.

I don’t really miss hugs. I’m another person who dislikes people hugging me. I’m fine with my children’ and husband but everyone else not so much! I really don’t see the need for greeting everyone with hugs and kisses. At least Covid has meant that I have a bit of personal space when meeting people.

I was a big hugger and kisser! But to be honest I won’t be doing that anymore. I missed it at first but over the past 12 months my germ phobias have got worse, if not out of hand. I don’t want anyone anywhere near me never mind hugging me.
Apart from my children and husband of course 😊
