So who is continuing to make plans for their summer Florida trip?

Interested to see who of those who have june/ July/ August bookings- are continuing to make the usual plans you would do pre pandemic at this point so close to your hol? We are due to travel 31st July.

For example- who has booked airport parking, airport hotel, lounges etc, bought dollars etc etc.

The limbo is killing me! I vary on an hourly basis between being really confident and nope, not happening.

I did flirt with taking steps to book a cabana at Volcano bay and booking the airport lounge at Manchester- as these are the things I would normally have definitely booked by now.

If we get the green light there’s a risk that availability and prices for the above will be a problem- but scared to tempt fate by booking!

Nothing booked other than flights but I'm pretty chill about things.

We often don't book whole holidays until 2 or 3 weeks before we travel.

Due to go the day before you. Relatively confident we’ll be able to fly, and I don’t care about restrictions or tests etc - if we can go, we’re going.

I’m pretty relaxed, everything is booked but all refundable. The only issue I can see is my villa has to be paid by 1st June. I just hope the situation is clearer by then.

We’re due to go in September , we’ve yet to book overnight parking, but we always book the same place so not to worried about that , just looking at travel insurance as I let our annual lapse , and need to think about that !

Haven’t bought dollars yet , but will think about that nearer the time.
Dogs are booked in with the dog sitter , seats booked on plane, Disney paid in full ( flight balance due in august) , a rough schedule is on paper
Suitcase has been half packed, and I have a packing list all done , overnight bag is out and has some stuff in

So I’m nearly there I think lol
Second jab on May 1st !

Jules

No we have cancelled, I felt that I wanted to guarantee a holiday and the only way was UK. So booked 6 weeks away and 15 weekends !
And can’t bloody wait !

We were on the uncertainty rollercoaster last year and I can’t do that again.

Edited at 12:41 PM.

I’m due to fly 25th July

I sorted the seats on the plan yesterday.
I’ve booked airport hotels but did that months ago.

Do need to sort parking though.

Balances are starting to be due in about 6 weeks.

I’m optimistic - my biggest issue right now is the cost of PCR for us (7 in total but if over 11s then 5)

Going 1st September and have most booked apart from 4 days when we return from Vero Beach. With VA changing our departure time have now booked overnight hotel and parking both fully refundable.

I've booked two weeks for 25 September and I'm looking forward to it, but we have no kids, just my wife and myself. And we are not just there for Disney.

Our balance is due April 29th. Confident to pay and get a refund if cancelled. Happy to go with restrictions and have decided to accept costs involved with testing. Will do Estas this weekend. Already have travel insurance, but was taken out with Staysure pre pandemic so not sure if covid cover will be included- likely not so may need amending. REALLY tempted to book the cabana for volcano bay- apparently refundable if cancelled up to 72 hours before.

We’re due to fly 17th July, feeling pretty confident at the moment.

Everything is paid in full as we’d paid all the balances ahead of our March trip last year and it was cancelled 5 days before we flew - so this is all rescheduled stuff:

• DVC booking done
• 6 night add on at Caribbean Beach done - balance needs paying.
• Flights booked and paid for, seats chosen.
• Night before hotel and airport parking booked.
• Annual passes purchased - just need activating when we arrive.
• Dogs booked into kennels.
• Insurance sorted.
• Universal hotel for a night booked and paid for.
• Universal tickets booked and paid for.
• Park passes sorted.

Just need to work out which dining we’ll book at the 60 day point
