Esta Authorised approval in only 10 minutes

So for anyone that dreads applying for Esta's, I just applied for DH & DD Esta's, as both their passports had expired beginning of this year, and both got new passports. Both were approved in only 10 minutes.

I didn't include their social media presence and put US contact details as Unknown. Wow I am impressed by how quick it was approved, I always dread filling out the online forms in case I make mistakes or it gets denied.

Now we're all set for our September holiday. Feeling positive

Mine took about 20 mins, did put my online social media presence and was still accepted although I have had a few unkind words over a certain someone!

I wonder. . IF/When we are given the green light for travelling to the US, the sudden influx of Esta applications could slow down the process? Would it be worth doing the Estas prior to any news release about travel?

I did our two today, came through in about 20 mins always worries me no matter how many times I have done them.
My theory is ( personal view only ) that after May 17th if and when they say travel can resume, and fingers crossed the President agrees.
Everyone not on the Dibb will be rushing to get theirs done

Those who have booked Esta’s in the last wee while for going in say 3-4 months what was the benefit of doing it this early?
