I’ve just cancelled My booking

I’ve been realistic and cancelled our BA flight and hotel.com booking for May 26th 😕.
I’ve waited and hung on as long as possible.
Here’s hoping our end of September trip will go ahead and we all will be able to have some sort of normality soon.

We have two short weekend UK breaks to look forward to in June and July.

So sorry to hear your trip is cancelled we're keeping our fingers crossed for October but we've got April 2022 booked as well

I think at some point governments are just going to have to bite the bullet! COVID isn't going anywhere so now its just about trying to live with it like we do the flu. I think there's a good chance of September going ahead especially as majority of people would've had their 1st vaccine by then

We moved our August booking to next May, it 100% felt right for us if only because I felt like I didn’t have the excitement of planning and looking forward to it with all the uncertainty.

I’m still hanging in there for July but no matter what’s said tonight means diddly squat
till we get the election results here in Scotland
DH one Gds and I would be fine with Amber but Other gradsson starts school a week after they are due back so still a waiting game right now

BA had cancelled our original flights abs changed them a good few weeks ago , I didn’t take the cancellation option till today and was easy to request refund , last two trips I had to ring them and go through the cancellation process on the phone.
