which browser

I have windows 10. I do find chrome very slow to load. Would i be better using MS Edge or is there no real difference in Browsers?

Chrome and Edge both use the same Chromium engine and tend to perform in very similar ways to each other.

Edge typically since its swap to Chromium tends to use more memory than Chrome (if that's even possible )

What extensions have you got loaded into Chrome, these can often delay its start up. Also what startup mode have you got it set to (as in start afresh or re-open tabs) as this can also slow it down.

I have a feeling it is the start up mode but i have no idea how that is changed

Click on the three dots (top right of Chrome Window)
Settings (from the drop down)
On Start-up (on the left)

Select the mode you want.
