New - Valet Parking At BLT

Spotted this on DVC news, only a trial but will probably become permanent I suspect.
Will certainly help some Dibbers out especially as parking is difficult there.

MMM! Could come in handy. As you say Tom BLT is notorious for lack of spaces.

I'm sure I read that they have started or considering Magical Express drop off directly at BLT also. Thankfully never had paring problems at BLT as long as your are prepared to walk(!).

I read that as well ref the Buses.

For those with mobility issues this Valet will be a Godsend I suspect.

I repeatedly say we go to the Contemporary a lot, but I always park well away from the main building due to my concerns over resident Guests. Otherwise how can I moan about those who abuse the parking at SSR which has become horrendous.

The only resort we've had trouble with is Grand Floridian since they moved all guest parking to what was originally (in planning) DVC only parking. The staff at VGF always tell you to park valet and let them know so they can credit it back to the room... no hardship I know but general parking is much closer compared to valet!

I got caught out at the GF. I was heading for the car park the other side of the road as normal only to be found it's no longer in use for Guests. Had to go around and as you say park by the DVC end. Weird.
It was a bit of a walk - especially in the rain, but it was fine.

If you dash over to the DVC building first. From there you can use the covered walkway all the way over to the main building.

Ahh. Good tip thank you. Plus being 'veterans' we never go anywhere without those Disney umbrellas!
Chuck them in the footwell and they get good use!

This is why we never eat in the Parks. Cannot be doing those long walks in pouring rain!

Valet parking at BLT will be a lot easier for us, the accessible spaces are usually full.
