WDW food quality - last 6 months
There are many reports on other Disney forums and blogs that WDW have changed food suppliers and quality of food is substantially down to all Disney run restaurants. Anyone returned in last 6 months that would provide feedback on this?

No direct experience to share but read many of the same articles and posts on other forums as you have I suspect. It would appear the exceptions to the rule are the newly opened restaurants and quick service locations at Disney Springs that have something to prove to get established.
We've noticed a decline in quality or a reduction in offerings over the past 3 years so part of me wonders if it is other guest catching up depending on how often they travel but equally its true they have made many changes very recently so I do fear the worst! |

God I hope not!
Tripadvisor reviews will sort it out though, if it's really a problem. If your Signatures or any of the restaurants on Disney property start receiving horrendous reviews down to the quality of the food, there will surely be a quick turnaround to fix it. |

I went last year and I wasn't really that impressed with Disney restaurants on the whole, this was my ninth time so have been to a lot before, but one of my most favorites Raglan Road, I thought was very underwhelming, the ones I thought really stood out where Saana and The Crystal Palace

I'm sure one of the regulars on here said he personally knew a chef at one of the signature restaurants and that they had been under a lot of pressure to buy cheaper cuts of meat.

From a YouTube video I saw of yak and yeti takeaway, they have definitely made the portion sizes smaller in there.
I never rated Disney food the best (except V&A and Sanaa), but it'll be awful if everything just gets downgraded. |

I always remember the first time I visited the USA and watched an American guy receive his breakfast, poked his fried egg with his knife and sent it back to the kitchen and this was at a Dennys!
We MUST if we are dissatisfied with any food from any restaurant complain about it and ask for it to be replaced or refunded, unless we do they will run rough shod over us and serve up poor quality food knowing they will get away with it. |

We were there in Nov so just outside your 6 months but had excellent food.
We havent really noticed any decline in quality since our first visit in 2010 but are aware it has increased in price and the options at some places are becoming more limited/samey
