You then pay and annual charge of €5 (although you can cancel and get your tag deposit back at any time) We've had it for a few years and makes trips down the autoroutes a breeze
We looked at this last year, but there was no offer on the admin charge, so it wasn’t very good value. (€15 admin and monthly charge, which was nearly as much as the toll charges themselves, even if you ignore the €20 because you plan to return the tag.)

I guess it works out better if you can avoid the admin charge, but I’d still be in two minds about returning the tag to get the €20 back and potentially having the admin charge to pay if I wanted to get a new tag another time.

Just a question from me - can the tolls be paid with a card? All things I've looked at say yes but wanted to triple check with someone who has done it!

Yes just make sure you go to matching that shows cards. It's easy done as well.

I used the card toll yesterday - very easy and was €22.50 as mentioned.
