Anyway to find out why a flight was cancelled?

I always have a little track of the flight were on, on the run up to a holiday, we fly 7 weeks today on BA2167 Gatwick to Tampa. Was looking today and the same flight has been cancelled, but is there any way to find out why it was cancelled? Not that it really matters but I am a bit geeky and like to look at flight stats lol.

Whilst having a look, not found the answer to your question, but what is interesting is the plane that was scheduled to fly to Tampa today actually flew to Toronto instead. So it's not a lack of an aircraft or technical issues which most of the time cancels flights?

Yes I looked on flight radar aswell, and saw that. I looked at flight stats and it just says cancelled? No other reason 🤔
