Mmm, not looking terribly good for our direct BA flight back from San Diego - just have to hope by September they might have sorted things out. We are going out to LAX on AA - going to be a very full flight if BA are striking that day!

Well, we are flying out on the 6th September Heathrow > New Orleans. I am hoping and praying that this is resolved by then. Will be really difficult for us if it's delayed as we are doing a roadtrip and so everything is planned out in advance. We would have to miss our time in New Orleans I guess

I hope for everyone’s sake that this thing gets resolved and doesn’t spoil anybody’s plans.

Hopefully we’ll get details tomorrow as the wait is making me feel awful.

Dh is due to fly out to meet us 10/8 but is able to travel from 4/8 onwards if need be. I’m hoping if his flight is affected we’ll be able to get him out to us earlier. Fortunately his company are very understanding and will let him take a laptop out to work there if he has to go out earlier. He works closely with their US sites so being on US time won’t be an issue.

This is the first trip where dd and I are travelling ahead of him and this issue is taking all the excitement away because I’m worrying how we’ll sort things out if we’re not even in the same country.

Well I’m due to fly out to Vegas next Tuesday. That should be ok. DD is due to fly out to meet us from Heathrow on the 6th August, so that is hugely in doubt. We are due to fly back on the 13th. Again not sure if we’ll be stuck out there. I have 3 days annual leave left and cannot afford to need to use any of them because we’re delayed home. I really hope this gets resolved. I appreciate that for many, there’s a question mark over getting out at all.
