Annual pass

We have annual passes linked to our magic band using the will call ref. Do we need to pick up the physical tickets before we enter the park?

Hi. There is no need to actually collect them at all if you don't wish to.
However they are needed if you wish to get the discounts for food or shopping as they want to see the plastic card and photo I.D.

We tend to collect ours when we are having a stroll around Disney Springs at some stage in the Holiday.

Probably your best option is one of the AP locations inside the Park itself but just to confirm they aren't needed to enter a Park

No idea how will call works, just know we bought ours via member services and before the renewal date we had to go to guest relations to show our Passports because of the member discount

We did as mrtomorow does and did it at Disney springs as the will call window and first relations queue was huge

OP. As per Ali above. However I think they make the rules up as they go along!

I have never been asked for a Passport but they always ask for 3 things:-

DVC Member Card
Photo ID so we show driving licenses
Credit Card used to purchase the annual pass via Member Services.

Gosh think you are right as never been asked for the credit card or member card

I stupidly thought once you had the AP and renewed that was it until we couldn�t get in to magic kingdom couple of years ago and had to stand in the long queue at guest relations so lesson learned there

we thought we would collect ours from " will call " at the entrance of MK on our first day, we stood in line for 10 mins, they were told to pop over to the AP booth, so stood in another line for 10 mins

Thanks all. I think we�ll pick these up at DS at some point. Good to know we don�t need them day 1 we have an early breakfast!
