Excited about Disney

Wait for 7 month mark or rent points?
Hi all
bit of a strange question I know.. we are planning a family holiday with my DH family to Disney in May 2021. There will be 6 adults and 2 children under 7. The family are usually villa holiday people and love the space , pool, laundry price etc. us on the other hand... well as DVC members love to be on site and cant imagine going to Disney and not being onsite. So we had the idea of using our points to get us all a 3 bedroom at OKW for 1 week (then spend the rest of the time offsite in a villa I was thinking about one near the hospitality house then close to pool for kids plus I have a knee condition and cant walk to far (I've stayed there before and know how far away some rooms it can be) So here is the question we own at poly, so whats the best to do? 1) wait for 7 months mark and hope we can get one 2) rent out my points and rent OKW points to book at 11 months and guarantee a 3 bed near hospitality house Thank you, I'm a little lost on what to be for the best.

May is a fairly quiet time, I suspect 1 beds near HH are available (I booked one at Xmas no probs on 7 but changed it to BLT) but there are obviously less GVs and zero data on availability as far as I know so I doubt anyone will be able to give you a good idea without that data unless someone on here regularly checks.

Hi Clandestine girl
I can’t help with the question but if you do decide to rent your Poly points I’d be interested as we’re looking for some for October 2020 If you do decide to rent them please let me know. Thanks Craig |
