Best way to book onsite for 2 nights?

We’ve never stayed onsite but would like to do it for a couple of nights when we arrive. What’s the best (most cost effective!) way to book? The UK sites I’ve looked at so far will only do a min 5 night stay with DDP. I’d love the DDP but is that only with longer stay? Will be buying a 2 week ticket and then heading to a villa after a couple of nights.
All advice welcome as completely new to onsite have only ever stayed in condos - thank you!

Hi, if you change the booking to just for a hotel - then it will let you book anything from one night upwards.

If you want a dining plan, whether free or bought, then it's a 5 night minimum via the UK site. You can book fewer nights by selecting accommodation only. You can look at the US site too, bit with the exchange rate being so poor, you might find it works out more expensive. Look at places like Expedia, Travel republic etc. Booking with a third party still gets you all the same onsite perks as booking direct. Finally, also look at renting DVC points as that's a great way of staying at a deluxe resort for a lot less than paying normal room rates. There are often people on here advertising points to rent

Just chose hotel only option when searching on disneyholidays and put in your dates .
Do you want the dining plan ?

Thanks all that’s helpful I was obv missing something on the UK site. Is it possible to ever get the dining plan if you only stay a couple of nights?

I think if you book Dvc the member can add it for you but I think you may find it cheaper to pay oop . If you book Dvc the rooms also have a small kitchen area so you can do breakfast in your room easily .
Don’t forget to add in resort parking costs if you are staying after 1/1/2020 as well . Dvc bookings get free parking .

We were planning on collecting car when we leave on site. With the dvc bookings do you get the other perks eg airport transfer, 60 day fast pass? Sorry if silly questions!

Not silly at all , Yes , all perks included. It’s just so much cheaper to book a deluxe this way .
