I love the smell of cloves but don’t think I could live with it all day. Is it a bit overpowering?

I have basically bathed in Avon’s skin so soft but still managed to get two bad bites on my leg. I react quite badly to them so they are very swollen, painful & itchy
I wonder if I could add a few drops of citronella into the bottle of skin so soft?

I put 6 drops of citronella oil inour suntan lotion. We got no bites. It did smell and felt slightly oily but worked well.

I have really bad reactions to bites I use SSS for arms, shoulders, over hair as it smells so nice & for me works but I use Ben's 100 that I buy in the States when ever I am there (no expiry date) for my legs and ankles, its for use against Ticks & Mossies. Its 95% Deet & we can only get the 30 or 50% here unless you want to pay £26 on Amazon for it rather than $6 in Walmarts !
If you really do react bad to bites then Ben's is the real deal. (I also hate the smell of it but thats a small price to pay for me)

We are currently in a lakeside lodge on East Coast of Yorkshire, so lots of critters buzzing around Lake or when you use hottub, I saw this post other day before we got here and we've got citronella candles burning on patio furniture outside and I got some citronella lantern candles from poundshop before we came and put them around hot tub... None of us have been bitten so far 👍👍👍
