Timber delivery help

DD ordered timber for extra decking, she is at work and her neighbour has the key to her back garden. The delivery driver refused and left it on the commounal grass outside her house. Her neightbour has had a hernia Op so is not able to move it, Im at home and doubt I could shift much on my own, any advice on how she stands as with regards to the dumping of the wood (not on her property)

You'd have to check delivery instructions .

Very very rare the Builders Merchants will drop other than on the kerb line.

If I'm here they normally Hiab on to the drive but they don't have to. They do for me as I know them.

Even then they wont bring it down the drive though.

That is pretty normal, could she let her neighbours know she will move it when she gets in and apologise in the meanwhile.

We had one of our neighbours come round and apologise as he had a delivery which got dumped on our drive by mistake rather than his, we went out and helped him move it round as he was going to do it on his own, perhaps one of her neighbours may offer to help?
