We have a 10 night road trip around Lake Michigan booked for 29th September and if we can't get there we'll definitely head somewhere else. If Canada does open up to International tourists by then, Vancouver is at the top of the list!

I’m also looking at Canada for October but I would prefer somewhere warmer.

I’m wondering if it’s possible to go to Toronto for a few days (if international travel opens up 7 Sept) and then fly onto Florida? I’ve got a bit lost with all the changes 😐

Another one with Canada on the list, but I agree with Karen, much as I'd love to go to Canada I think i'm leaning towards somewhere warmer.

Even our back up holidays are changing, it's good to have an idea of where we'd like to go, but I feel like I'm playing holiday roulette!

I think I’d have the same mindset as you both if we were planning on Florida but the weather will be iffy at best where we’re heading 😂.
Let’s hope none of us need our back up plans!

We are off to Jamaica on Tuesday instead of Florida. I'm not sure you would call it a back up plan as essentially the list of countries on my back up plan was 'anywhere that will accept us Brits' cross referenced with 'on the green/amber list' so we don't have to isolate when we come home. So, Jamaica it is for us.

I'm also holding out for a last minute booking for October half term to Orlando. I'm hoping we could do a week at universal. But nothing is booked at the mo. If not Orlando then I will revert to the plan of who will accept us and we won't have to isolate. I would like to get to Toronto and Niagara as that was one of our cancelled trips last year.

Good luck everyone with your plans.
