I'm looking at buying an Ebac one - they have a 7 year warranty and are supposed to be infinitely repairable; plus they are made in the UK

I know. That is why DH was determined to try and fix it (he is not a practical person, he watched YouTube videos of how to change a pump). He said he was going to try because he is fed up with the anti fix manufacture of things these days. He usually mentions Apple who make it virtually impossible to so much as unscrew something.

Always Google the make model and error code as step 1. Then you will know what you are dealing with! Sometimes (with my dishwasger) it's simply switch off at the wall for 24 hours!
