Because there is no opening date for the hotel rooms yet. Nobody knows when that might be as Disney hasn’t announced it.

Isn't it strange then that the other hotels are available to book and not these ones?

Kidani is currently open and available to book. As it is DVC though I think you can only book 11 months in advance.

I really wanted AKL for next trip! I booked Caribbean Beach today for May 2022 and am hoping to upgrade when they finally announce a reopening date!

That's great info thanks very much. We stayed at Kidani 2 years ago and it was incredible. I think we're going to do the same as beaky2808 and book Caribbean beach now and upgrade when we can.

Who did you book with? We usually use ATD?

I think it depends if they announce it whilst the offer is still on 😕 I’m really hoping so! I’m very sure it would have been included in the offer had it been open. Probably won’t upgrade if we can’t transfer the offer.
