Switching airports in London on return

Hi

We are still tentatively looking at this October booking flights and accommodation through BA. Looking at 6 or 7 nights as tied to school holidays.

To get the flight back to Gatwick and then fly back from Heathrow to Edinburgh is over �500 cheaper than connecting in Heathrow.

Is it stressful to transfer? There is 6 hours between flights and we�d be looking to use a transfer service. Can anyone recommend a service?

This might be the difference between going or not and could do without it being too stressful as I�d be back in the classroom the next day.

BA transfers will transfer you from Gatwick to lhr
(Nothing to do with British airways), wouldn�t bother with national express as you wouldn�t want to be loading your luggage after a long flight. Will pick you up from terminal as well.

As long as your flight back isn't delayed 6 hrs should give you time to spare

I did it with a 4 hour window and it was fine, this included doing the M25 just after rush hour (0930hrs).

Another thumbs up for BA transfers who were brilliant.
