Aer Lingus cancel all Manchester US flights through 30th September

We had phoned them ONE MORE time ahead of planning doing the chargeback next day, and hubby has just said this morning that money refunded to credit card overnight.

I filled in the online form but didn't get an email or confirmation so was worried it hadn't gone through ok so called them on Saturday and the refund is showing on my card today -which is fab as I have just booked flights with BA this morning.

Hope everyone else gets their refund ok or alternative flights, if that is what you wanted!

Had completed the online form to request a refund but rang customer services today as I had a query about rebooking. Got through in 2 mins and the advisor said they would move my request for refund to the relevant department for processing and to allow 10 days.

Not sure what menu option I should have selected that would have ensured it went to correct place. Just selected full refund, gave details on flight and added comment on box explaining I’d received email that flight was cancelled. Peace of mind calling them

Please can I ask what number you used to phone and also, does it matter which level of ticket you had to get a cash refund. I booked a smart ticket allowing a voucher but am I right in thinking I can still get the refund as the whole flight is cancelled by them?

0333 004 5333 and no if they cancel it, you are due full refund. Cheers

Get ringing at 7.59! They should give you a cancellation code, then in few days chase them on dm on twitter.. Good luck 👍🏻

Phoned at 8am and got straight through... refund request received last week and to the correct dept. She apologised and said due to huge demand there could be a delay of a few days but it is coming... deja vu?

Awesome, give it a couple of days then direct message aer lingus on twitter quoting your refund confirmation code. 👍🏻
