What rooms and at which one of the hotels, have the rooms where your door opens onto the lobby?

Are these DVC or standard booking for all?

At Kidani all rooms are DVC while at Jambo house very few of the rooms are DVC and these are all available to be booked as a cash stay anyway. While availability may for dvc rooms can be tougher to guarantee as disney are not allowed to sell these until I think 11 months, you can still pay and stay in these without being a DVC member. I find touring plans room finder helpful touringplans/hotel_maps/...-kingdom-lodge as this make it clear which rooms are hotel and which are dvc. Hope this helps.

I would have thought that all of Jambo, as it was a "Hotel" first before DVC, certainly our Savannah room on 3rd floor opened out on to the corridor. At a guess I'd say that Kidani is the same

If you want the door to open into the lobby you will want to request building 1 - if you are a cash booking you will need to request level 4, level 5 is DVC and Level 6 is club level.

There are only a few rooms that open up onto the lobby but from our experience the rooms that open onto the lobby are high traffic areas so are likely to be quiet noisey.

I wonder if the op just means the rooms open onto internal corridors instead of outside walkways, rather than the lobby itself? in which case I think all rooms do. AKL does not have any external access rooms that I can think of, can anyone?

Hi DN I think it was close to 3407 if not that one exactly, same level as foyer, TBH I'd have preferred a higher floor but there was nothing wrong with it IYKWIM
