VA seat availability Manchester

When our Glasgow flight was moved to Manchester we couldn't get the seats in PE that we wanted, so everyday I've checked and it's always been full. Today approximately half the seats were available including the ones we prefer so quickly moved ourselves.

Anyone know why this should happen all of a sudden? Hopefully they're not going to cancel.

Flight is for the 1st September.

Probably opened up a load of seats that were blocked by the airline
