From experience with this I would suggest having a look around locally if there is anyone that offers to suck the wax out. I had to get it done before I went on holiday last time, only cost about £30 but it instantly solved the problem. I went to the drs and they essentially said I would be on a very long waiting list to get it sorted out through them and that was before covid!

Hope you manage to get it sorted, it’s really grim when your ears are blocked!

If it’s an ear infection try ear calm
Ear spray. You can buy it over the counter in boots etc

Specsavers do micro suction. I had mine done in February, it was instant relief. £55 for two sessions.

My husband got the suction done at specsavers a few weeks ago too. Cost £55 but he says was well worth it as his ear had been painful and itchy for months.

Try taking Sudafed decongestant tablets, they help break through blockage, you can actually feel the inner drum crackling , a little sniff of nose vapour helps too

My husband had the micro suction a coupe of years ago. He suffered for years with closed ears and tried all kinds of drops. Since he had the micro suction he hasn't suffered since. I think he paid about £50 at a local clinic.

I have had this 3 times this year. If you have treated it for wax and still have the problem then it could be an Eustachian Tube blocked. Search Youtube for Eustachian Tube exercise - Dr Adam Fields is good and follow the exercises and similar which include how to massage face/ear. Plus take decongestion cold/flu meds to help clear it. Hold your nose and try and pop your ears gently, if you can pop both then it is Eustachian Tube problems.

Pharmacist recommended this for DD who has regular blocked ears/ear infections.

I used the otex ear bulb thingy, where you squeeze water in. I'd suffered for a loooong time, but it was instantly better (and not nice to look at what came out) and it's been absolutely fine since. I can't believe I suffered for so long with my ears constantly blocking.
