Water Park with 5 kids

Hi all,

booked to visit Orlando in April/May 2022. Not been since 2011 and had no grand children then.

Any one able to advise on which water park or parks to visit?

I think two will be the most we can fit in.

We have 5 grand childern, 3,5,7,7 and 9 years old when we go.

Any help appreciated.

Assume you are doing Disney?
I would stick to Disney water parks with young children 👍
Infact would stick to Disney for Theme parks too.

Agree on Disney water parks. Typhoon lagoon and Blizzard beach are great. Kids will love it and so will you

We like Typhoon Lagoon best but friends with young kids reckon Blizzard Beach is best for them. Both are great though

All the water parks are great fun for kids, I think Blizzard Beach edges it slightly for younger ones.

We preferred blizzard beach when the kids were small. Some great kids areas with mini sized slides

After a day at a water park with FIVE children I’d need a lie down in a dark room 😂 but I do agree, Blizzard Beach is the best for small ones.

I personally prefer the theming of Typhoon Lagoon, but the kids preferred Blizzard Beach. Happy kids are happy (grand) parents so they win….but given you can go to 2 water parks why not try both?

Blizzard has a better kids area but I think the theming not to mention the wave are better at TL. I can't remember what the kids area at AQ is like & haven't been to VB

I have been to all four, three of them many times.

Whilst I love Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard beach and rate each very highly, I am aware of the ages of the 5 x children. Many have come a cropper on the abrasive wave pool bottom at Typhoon Lagoon. The waves are big!

I would look at Aquatica. I simply feel that it may be safer with the ages and also it has an absolutely incredible kids play area that is well supervised and easy for parental observation.

P.S As an adult, I rate it
Typhoon Lagoon (lazy river and theming).
Volcano bay. Theming and taputapu.
Aquatica.
Blizzard Beach.

Having said that, all four are awesome.

I agree that with the children’s ages, it may be best to simply buy Disney tickets only.. even though I now don’t bother myself as my boys are 18 and 15. With that in mind, unless you have access to Aquatica on other tickets, then Blizzard Beach.
