Taxi and child car seats

Anyone know the rules on car seats for a 3yr old in a taxi in Tampa?
Will have a car seat for the hire car but looking to get a taxi from hotel to Wrestlemania, can you hire a taxi with car seats or would you expected to travel without one.
Never used a taxi with the kids even over here so unsure how it works.

I know little about getting a taxi with child seats but I do know you can get an Uber with them.

Taxis exempt for child seat laws.
Your choice to use exemption or choose a safety first option that adds a cost.
No judgement just legal facts and opinion.
