Excited about Disney

Uber/lyft
We are having a quick one week trip in January and this will be our first trip without a hire car. We plan to use uber or lyft to get to and from Disney parks. Is it difficult finding your car when everyone is leaving the parks? Would we be better to get a bus or monorail to a hotel and then book a uber?

At the MK, you have to get to the TTC, so use the monorail or ferry. I'd go to the Contemporary instead.
At Epcot, if it's the end of the day you've likely been watching the fireworks and are somewhere in World Showcase - walk to the Beach Club and get it from there. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are straight forward enough. In all cases, you'll soon get used to tracking the progress of your car on the app and looking out for the license plate you have been told is on the car coming to collect you. (I do wish US cars had number plates on the front though!) |

There is a designated area for ride shares so fairly easy but will depend on how busy it is. If you know your cars that makes it easier too

Hi Bozza, as an aside to this thread and due to your comment above, I remembered having hired an out of state car in Florida, that had a front plate, which I thought was very unusual at the time. So nosiness got the better of me so I checked when we got to the villa and 31 of the 50 US states have front number plates! This was something I didn’t realise, being as you, thinking they all just had rear ones. Well I was educated again that day.
