How busy is Universal in Oct

We are going back next year and in the past we have always had 1 night in Uni for the FOLPs, but previously been Easter and end of May

Next year we are flying out 14th Oct and looking to spend first couple of nights in Uni - the value resorts are a really great price whereas the premier ones are around £350 a night!

At that time of year do we need FOLP? We’d use early entry each day

Thanks

14th October is Columbus Day and school holiday week in some states so it will be busy, but not July busy. I was there for the 2 preceding weeks this year and it was very busy some days, most lines were 45-60 mins so it depends on your wait time tolerance. And of course this year was impacted by people delaying their trips due to the hurricane.

We were there late October (ie 2 weeks ago). Varied day to day but other than Hagrids I dont think we queued more than 20 minutes, maybe 30 once or twice. We arrived within 30 minutes of opening each day and pretty much stayed ahead of the crowds.

We were there for first 2 weeks of October, our middle weekend was the Columbus day weekend. We had FOLP for the 10th and 11th October, and did need them as it was pretty busy (much busier than when we have visited previously in Feb and Sept). I wouldn't have fancied it without front of the line passes myself, but my queue tolerance is pretty low, 30 mins or so max.

Just back. Stayed 24th Oct - 7th Nov and have to say it was grand. Longest queue was hagrids at 70 mins when we where in Universal. Worse queuing was HHN on halloween do not do that!
