Rumours are that this new park will be more "adult" themed and could be the new home to Halloween Horror Nights.
Still, I won't be going, not my cup of tea.

Considering the rumours include a Dreamworks themed area, perhaps a Minions area, and the previously announced Nintendo World area (the land on the left looks just like models of Mario land and Donkey Kong land seen online), I suspect the park will be just as family oriented as the other two parks. By which I mean it will appeal to both adults and children - because why limit your potential customers when you can appeal to everyone!

The rumours also include a classic Universal monsters area, which would fit in well with Halloween Horror Nights. I can see that they might move HHN to the new park.

Not gonna lie... I find this all very exciting. Universal are ahead of the game when it comes to theming and rides (not including King, Fast and Furious and Jimmy Fallon) - They know that customers do not want more virtual type rides.
I think Nintendo land is gonna knock it out of the park - I’ve also heard that Disney have got an announcement to make at D23 that nobody knows about (sourced from Twitter) - and apparently Universal are keeping things close to their chest as they do not want ideas to be stolen 😂.
I love this whole guessing game malarkey.

This is also sourced from Twitter (@AliciaStella) - her image.
She has also posted that Donkey Kong Mine Cart is being ride tested (off site) with a video. She does seem to know her stuff!

My eyesight is going and I can't read the words in the image. The Dibb tends to reduce the size of images.

Ah, I've found a bigger version:

Personally, I think the "How To Train Your Dragon" area will be a Dreamworks area and cover more than just HTTYD. They'll be Madagascar, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda stuff too - like there are in other Universal parks around the world.

It's interesting to see that the following image taken from Alicia Stella's video posted by CAD earlier in this thread:

...closely matches the artists rendition of the park, especially the central spine/hub.

Looks like someone decided to start a new thread for people to guess when Epic Universe will open - see here:
