I think it had been down and re-opened and it said the queue was 45 minutes but we didnt think it was as we walked through the whole of the outdoor winding queue area. DS and dh said no way would they wait 45 minutes. They came back and we were literally just getting off and still the queue hadnt built up again so we all joined the queue and went back on. We have ridden it since with FP but not managed to get one this year.

I think they probably are leaving some rides out. I'm not that fussed about any ride in particular so I am quite happy to miss things. I used to queue longer than I do now but never found that for me a ride was worth queuing hours for. I hate standing still as it makes me feel unwell though so that's why I will not queue for too long. I am happy to sit and wait for others for hours whilst watching the world go by though.

Many years ago we stood for 3 hrs to get on Back to the Future at Universal as it hadn't been open long and said then we would never do that again for anything. Last visit we stood for an hour for toy story mania and that was our limit. If the wait time says 35 mins or more we walk on by. We have been so many times we have done it before and will do it again at some point. I have no plan to wait in a long line for any new Star Wars ride. The boys can and I'll go shopping instead 😎

Nope actually we have done 3 visits and never queued more than 25 mins for anything and have done all the big rides multiple times- even when e.g. 7DMT, frozen, pandora and toy story were new. We do this by staying onsite so we have the fastpass advantage and then also rope dropping a park every day. Our past visits we have also been adults only which has sped us up! I also make custom plans on touringplans.
So it is possible to do every ride without queuing - albeit with commando planning! |

1 hour posted time is my limit for top attractions. Anything under 30 min is considerd a treat. Ropedrops are my best friends! 😉

Wouldn't wait longer than 60 mins for rides at Disney parks if I had 14 day pass (which we we've had on previous occasions) - anything over that and we'd leave it and plan for another day.
We've waited longer, however, at Universal when we've had just 1/2 day pass. I seem to remember queuing at Kong for 110 mins not long after it opened. Really wasn't worth it. |

Because I've done all of the rides in the parks to death, I'd say around 40 minutes, although I'd make an exception for Flight of passage.
