How many to a room though, this isn't a family trip with kids, we're all adults and as such we have 5 rooms between 8 of us, ideally it would have been more. I haven't found a way of replicating that sort of arrangement on Disney property for anything like the price quoted above, though I'm happy to be corrected.

OK, if there are only 2 to a room (for example) then the cost would be as follows based on Sew109's info:

£2200 - Tickets for 3 + Tickets for 2 = £1800 approx.

£1800 / 7 nights / 2 people = £128 approx.

So £128pppd during that week which pays for the accommodation, all food, tickets, plus on-site benefits. Admittedly, this is more expensive per person per day due to less people per room. But it is only £28 more than the £100 you were paying just for tickets, hotdog and parking; that £28 pays for the hotel room and more food.

If just one person was in the same room then it would be around £200pppd. Yes, the price per person gets worse the less people are in each room.

Of course, if you stay on-site for the whole two weeks then the price per person per day reduces. For 2 people sharing one room it ends up being around £100pppd, although that doesn't include tickets to the other theme parks.
