so if you take your car to RPR, remain parked there and use internal free transportation (water taxi) or walk to the parks.

you'll be charged the nightly fee, for each night you stay there
do not take your car to citywalk, or you'd pay again there.

Unless there has also been an increase in hotel parking rates?

they have already increased significantly in the recent months

CBBR for example has gone up from $14 to $17 a night ...

as far as being a passholder ... yup, it's good for free parking at citywalk, but it's of no use for parking at the hotels. Passholders pay for parking at hotels like anyone else ...

silly you can park for free at the parks where you get unlimited "free" entry (after the one time fee of the AP), but need to pay for parking at an hotel you pay to stay at.

You can always buy 2 cinema tickets which would cost a total of around $14 if you want

Free Parking with 2 Matinee Tickets
Free Regular Parking* for matinee movie showings from 11am – 6pm with purchase of two or more Universal Cinemark matinee tickets. (Regular Parking fee must be paid in full and then will be reimbursed upon presentation of parking receipt. Restrictions apply.)

universalorlando/web...ersal-cinemark

Not sure what stops people making throwaway bookings as the cinema tickets are cheaper than parking!

Worst thing about this was no coms re price increase, went yesterday and was $25. Poor shoe from universal. Staff don’t seem as helpful as Disney

Yes, it’s not quite the same experience as Disney. You can easily do the Universal experience including Volcano Bay in 3 days so that keeps the cost down

I like Universal but with the prices now for tickets over £1000 for a family of 4 plus parking and food it’s not worth it.

Disgraceful price increase. Just the same as Disney now...a money making exercise
