right as my dh has decided that he would divorce me if i mention any of the following

virgin atlantic
magic kingdom

actually anything at all regarding holiday i have decided to do a pre trip index/diary

little bit about us

2 adults me 35 (WILL BE 36 OUT THERE) and dh 34 (the week before we go)
1 teenager 15
1 toddler will have just turned 3 (good timing and a bottle of wine)

we have talked about florida since ds1 was born but wanted to wait until he was a bit older. then we ran out of money
so this is the first time we are planning to def go! well in 2011
people say we are mad as ds2 is too young to remember but it isn't for him ITS FOR ME! i love rollercoasters. well biggest ones i have been on are in blackpool though. ds2 is mickey mouse mad (only word he actually says)oh and since i first started this he is now CARS mad so he will love it even if he doesn't remember it - sure we will have 8k photos to show him and we can always go again hehe (when ds1 can pay for himself)

[B]so far i have organised[/B]

first week in comfort inn in LBV
floridays for 4th june for 1 week - sent deposit 50% to owner directly! and he has confirmed it is ok!

we also purchased a mapmans map -getting well used as it is

money - well re did our finances and topped up a loan to get the flights
flights booked and paid- aerlingus direct 28th may for two weeks

also got two passport covers for the boys - cars and mickey mouse

so far i have decided but open to change as not booked

maybe 14 day ioa and us ticket and 5 day disney one think it will be loads for us

hire a car for two days for shopping - still deciding!

organise taxi transfer with stop for shopping along the way - quicksilver
or feeling brave and may do CAR ON THE DRIVE

I think my husband may divorce me if I mention our holiday again. This is why I have turned to the DIBB i can get my daily dose of Disney and keep my marriage at the same time.

If you are going to hire a car for 2 days - why don't you just have it for the duration of your holiday?

drove up to newry yesterday to get a thomas cook brochure

they have disney tickets for £235 for next year for 14 days so think that is a definate plus two park ioa and us

flights are worrying - may go direct now as all these ash cloud delays frighten me - with all my plans what if it happens again next year - i would be devastated

also told ds1 we CANNOT afford it for next year and will look at spain - would love to surprise him but i keep letting things slip like when i get two florida brochures - i am crap

also need to add into my plan that quicksliver will bring me shopping and deliver me to my condo yiiiipppppppeeeeee

wonder if i will actually drive ? hope to for a couple of days but still debateable

when are you going mayo? i have noticed mc has not put on his calender yet that we have booked june 2011 with him

payment received for condo and now the week before hand is available so we may be able to go 6th june instead - fingers crossed
