The Groovee's do Orlando
So in 92 days we shall be returning to Florida for some heat, sunshine and to see WWOHP.
Cast Davscotcar - Dad Groovee - Mum Lil Miss - 13 year old daughter The Boy - 10 year old son Accommodation This time we're staying in a villa. Having always stayed in disney on our previous stays, this will be our first off site experience. Our villa is on US27. We expect to stay around the Westridge area close to Berry Town Centre as when we were booking Westridge kept coming up. Tickets We have purchased 14 day Disney ultimate tickets and 14 day 2 Park Universal tickets. These cost us £355 from ATD. Both children are classed as adults now. Plans Our planner is here We have 1 ADR booked for our must do restaurant. We plan to blitz the first week, and chill the 2nd week but plans can always be changed if needs be. We have an airboat ride to do and we plan to play mini golf and go to Disney Quest too. Eating Out We would like to try different restaurants as well as returning to old favourites. Eating breakfast in the villa most days, and then having some days where we eat breakfast out will be happening. Lunch will be if needed. We may on a rest day sleep late then have lunch instead of brekkie. Dinners may be eating out or else bringing take away in. If we fancy it, we may cook by picking stuff up at walmart or publix. Shopping We have a 13 year old who LOVES shopping and has discovered designer stuff. She will love the outlets. Pre Planning I have my trusty wee notebook for everything like last time. Clothes list at the back. Planner at the front and will do my restaurants list in it soon from the spreadsheet. So here goes... 13 weeks and 1 day to go.

Enjoy your villa.
We have always stayed off site, and it's a good experience. Publix is good for day to day shopping, Walmart huge... and the Applebies is worth a visit! I can already taste that cold beer when we get to the villa late afternoon... |

LOL we're looking forward to it too. How have you found the travelling down? We normally do I4 but it's adding 30 minutes every Friday when I check the travel times.

Good point. Assuming you mean what way you go out of Sanford, not how you join the 27 at the other end...
Always found traffic build up when entering Orlando on the 4 from Sanford, particularly late afternoon. Haven't really thought this far, in theory the 417 is slightly quicker... Always went via the four before, I think the excitment of being there takes over and we don't mind losing a bit of time... |
