Car Hire for one day from Disney
We are going to Busch Gardens and I have realised that it would be cheaper to hire a car for one day than it would be to get an Uber. We are staying at Pop Century Resort. Where can I pick up a car and how would I manage to hire the likes of a Mustang or Camaro?

The Disney Car Care Center would be the best location to collect from. They'll send a shuttle to your hotel reception to collection you (they open at 6am). Just ask your reception to give them a call the day before to arrange a suitable colleciton time.
Mustang and Camaro fall under the convertible category. Just be aware that August is hot & sunny and if you drive to Busch Gardens with the roof down, you'll be burnt to a crisp. |

We had a Mustang last week which was organised through Alamo at Dolphin hotel. It was about $150 for 2 days and they sent a shuttle to collect us from our resort as described above and you just give the keys to the valet there on return.
Don’t forget to add on parking and toll charges. (Apparently Disney charge $25 per night- but somehow we weren’t charged). |

Perfect, thank you!
I think we only pass through one toll going to Busch Gardens and we won't need to worry about parking as we get free Busch Gardens parking with our tickets

OP. I assume you are booking before you go?
Just in case you aren't it will be very expensive to book whilst there.

Think the poster was referring to the Disney car parking prices which are now in effect, not the BG parking.
Of course if you're just planning to hire a car for the day and return it back on the same day then this won't apply
