I just want to start by saying I’m not asking for medical advice as I’ve already contacted my GP. Just wondered if anyone else has had this. I’ve got a small patch of what looks like eczema near one of my nipples. I know it’s there when it starts itching, it drives me mad! After a couple of days of moisturiser, like E45 or Aveeno, it goes. It has come back about 3 times. If someone told me they had it, I would tell them to get it checked. So I’ve made an appointment but it’s in 3 1/2 weeks. I’ve also completed the econsult thing my surgery now use to ask if I need to be seen any sooner. Has anyone had anything like this?

I had an itchy nipple with some dry skin a couple of winters ago. Also had some aches and ended up having some tests all clear. I now find in winter the itchy ness can easily return if I do not moisturise. Good to go get it seen but sounds like excema.

That’s reassuring to hear, thanks. I’m thinking eczema too as I also have it on my back & it’s the sane kind of annoying itch. Think I just want a doctor to tell me that’s what it is!

Use the aveeno all of the time, not just when it itches. It takes the skin far longer to repair and become resistant to irritants than it looks. Is it after wearing a particular bra? I sometimes react to my knicker elastic and/or the lace elastic trim of certain bras, could it be this?

Could it be thrush ?
I’ve had it in that area, and could quite happily scratch my nipple off.
Really uncomfortable

I will start using it every day like I do in my back. Will try & figure out if it’s a particular bra too. Thanks.

I’ve been to the doctors today. I was asked lots of questions & the doctor said the fact that it responds to the Aveeno is reassuring as well as the fact that I have other patches of eczema. I was examined & no lumps were found so he was quite happy that it is eczema. I feel so relieved 😀
