Thanks I will be following closely. I’m here now and watching all the news channels. Not much wind yet. We were here in 99 when hurricane floyd hit. There was a lot more planning then. All the shops were boarded up. The shelves at every store had been picked bare. They also closed all the roads except for emergency vehicles. Went to bed that night expecting the worst. When we woke up the storm had lost all its power over land and Orlando was not affected. Hopefully the same happens tonight and tomorrow. After seeing the destruction of the Bahamas on the tv here I hope Florida escapes again

I dont think it's going to be too bad, doesnt look like Dorian will make landfall in Florida but it looks like we will see the effects of wind and rain. I'm here now also in Orlando, I've just booked a hotel on Clearwater beach so we are off there for a few days starting tomorrow.
