Hotel issue - BA Holidays

We booked some of our hotels and flights last year with BA. We were meant to stay in Palm Springs for 2 nights but left after one as it was so bad. My husband contacted BA afterwards and made it clear he wasnt complaining he just wanted them to be aware of issues with the hotel. The lady said if we had contacted them at the time they would have moved us to alternative accommodation. They also refunded our money for one night.

Thanks, I will try and speak with them, I am just researching other Hotels in the area that BA have available to see if any are away from the construction. I do feel they really should have made us aware. I certainly wouldn't have booked had I known.

Being cynical I think they didn't tell you as they knew you probably wouldn't book, ie they wanted your booking.

When I complained about work on the pool of our hotel they simply didn't know. No one had told them the work was taking place they actually phoned the manager to clarify the situation.

That’s exactly what BA said, they were unaware of the works. I think I could deal with the view not being great, as long as there isnt too much of a noise issue, I dont fancy relaxing by the pool to the sound of building works!

It is the Conrad! Yes I think it has. Not heard anything more from BA yet.

Would have preferred to be on Reflection again but dates didn’t quite work for us this year. Will miss booking an Alcove on San Juan day too. The Alcoves on the Edge don’t look very appealing.
Have a fab time on my favourite ship.
