If you stay onsite at Disney in either a value or moderate resort and to visit the food court you’d need to go outside, if the parks etc are shut and resort restaurants etc close, I take it you can’t go out of your room anywhere and you have to hunker down in the room?

Thanks
I believe that is pretty much what happened during Irma. Stock up on food, make sure devices are charged, and wait it out.

They had a curfew if i recall correctly.

Correct near enough, the curfew will be put in place for your own safety. You can still go out if you wish but you will be on your own with no support.

Just ensure you have enough supplies for at least few days, hopefully they wont be needed, but you never know.

when we were there for Hurricane Mathew we were invited to collect a ration pack, when we returned to the resort after the parks closed which was a reasonably sustaining box of food & water for each person on your booking, the queue to collect was very very long but it was worth while as kept us going until the curfew was lifted.

I assume that means the EEMH at HS, and the EMH at MK and AK, will not be on the next day (Wednesday)?

Went to mnsshp last night, quick disney fix,so was there from 2pm till close at midnight!.Fantastic time had by all (, except a breakdown on pirates of the Caribbean which was very poorly handled,my ds with asd was very distressed and there was no assistance for 45 minutes). All the rides were walk ons and it was so quiet everywhere, only downside was no fireworks which I understand due to safety.
At universal today and again totally dead 5 minutes wait on most rides, every ride done in less than 4 hours

Went to animal kingdom today and the park shut at 2. The weather was fine as it has been all day. Disney done a great job today. Looking after their visitors and especially looking after their workers by largely sticking to their closing times. Epcot was an exception. Maybe something to do with the food and wine festival.
The workers were fantastic all day iv never seen so many of them. There were also managers everywhere which was another great touch not expecting the ground staff to do everything. Well done disney
