Sleigh Bells ring, are you listening... Day 5

We’re up at 5am drinking hot chocolate and eating cookies!

The plan was to go to Celebration for the craft and farmers market but it’s throwing it down!

We decide to paint and use our time wisely.

We start at 6.30😳

It quickly becomes apparent that we don’t have nearly enough of the paint for the kitchen! By 8am we are back in Lowes getting more. We also nip into Walmart as well but I can’t remember what for!

Back home and I make bacon sarnies inbetween washing window dressings, moving furniture and painting doors. Richard does the wall painting, we have big walls! We love the new colour for the kitchen, it’s called Country Charm, no idea why!

We end up painting more than we expected to, 3 extra walls to be precise!

We break for a late lunch and eat left over pizza and chicken. I take down the Christmas tree, it’s still raining, we definitely made the right decision to stay in and paint!

It’s finally stopped raining so we take a dip in the pool, it’s like a bath!

After showers etc we head to Walmart, yes again! Just for a small tin of flat white paint, it’s cheaper than Lowes! We buy ingredients to make a chilli for tea tomorrow.

We head to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner, there’s a short wait, it’s packed! We have a coupon so it’s $12.49 each including unlimited drinks. I heard the girl on the phone telling someone it’s $16 each without a coupon.

Gorgeous fresh salad, cheesy garlic Brad and broccoli cheese soup.

Richard has ice cream for dessert and I have sugar free chocolate mousse and a brownie.

Early night tonight, we’re shattered!
