Hotel in London

Me again. We are staying overnight in London the night before getting the Eurostar to DLP - anyone got any hotel recommendations near to St Pancreas? DH fancied the big hotel at the station, but it is coming in at over £200 for one night! My dad and sister stayed at what they thought was a cheap place a couple of months ago, and apparently it was a horrible, tatty dump. So I'm trying to find somewhere inbetween the two!

Several Premier Inns in the area. The Euston one is often cheaper and only 10 min walk.

Travel Lodge London Farringdon - not stayed their yet, but £40 inc unlimited breakfast.

It's a tube ride from Kings Cross.

Thank you - I looked for a Premier Inn and found one really close for £69 for the two of us. Continental breakfast for an extra fiver each. We like Premier Inns too, the beds are usually really comfy.

Thank you for your advice/help!

Premier Inn St Pancras is nice and 5 mins away. We stayed there a few times before disney. We've also stayed at travelodge Faringdon but wasn't too keen.

the premier inn hub at kings cross is excellent, small rooms but more than enough for one cheap night in London. I think we got ours for £39 for a Sunday night before getting the Eurostar on Monday morning.

That's the one I've booked, but ours was £69 for a Sunday night in March. But I still thought that wasn't a bad price, and speaking to my sister yesterday, that was around the price she paid for the tatty hovel she and my dad stayed in!

Thanks for the info though, good to know it is an excellent hotel.

I love the Premier Inn hub, it's in such a good location and the little rooms are very well equipped!

We stayed at the premier inn hub Goodge Street the night before. Great little base and the bed was lovely! Went with DD for her hen party and got to spend the night before with her in London so we went to see a musical and had dinner in a really nice restaurant- all walking distance from the hotel. Next morning we jumped on the tube and met everyone else at the Eurostar entrance. She had no idea we were going to DLP. She thought we were going to a Christmas market!

Another vote for Hub by Premier Inn KX. We got 2 rooms for less than £100 on a Saturday evening this time last year. Great rooms and 2 for 1 on cocktails early evening in the bar - what more could you want! Then a 5-10 minute walk to the entrance to Eurostar next day.

The key with booking anything Premier Inn related is to get in early for a good price.
