Hi
We used yourlatours.com.
Had a personalised tour. Emily our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Will taylor the tour to your needs and not badly priced.
Would definitely recommend. Have a look at the website.

We have booked with a day in LA for this summer as we only have one spare day and there were so many things that DS18 just had to see!

Used Anaheim Tour Company for day trip to LA from Anaheim - pretty good, they picked up from Anaheim area hotels, and covered most things we wanted to see in LA during the day.

We used Starline Tours and booked through Viator. It was a package that included pick up from the hotel (The Garland), the LA Grand City Tour in the morning and the Celebrity Homes Tour later in the day before being dropped back to the hotel. Very well organised and got to see lots of LA.

Surf City Tours worked extremely well for us.

We were looking at doing it on our last day and also wanted to Preposition near to LAX, due to the horrible LA traffic. With this in mind, we chose Santa Monica as this was just a 7 mile journey to LAX.

The tour was from their shop, one block back from and behind Santa Monica Pier.

The tour included free parking in the car park adjacent to that pier. We simply had to pay, then get redeemed when we reached the shop.

We got there at 0830 and spent a good hour exploring the pier, before making our way to the shop/start point.

The tour was in an open side, hard top, transit sized van. There were around 12 of us and the transport was perfect for our 6 hour tour.

We saw the houses of the so called, famous at Beverley Hills etc.
We saw the various ‘sights’ such as Janis Joplin’s last hotel check in, The pretty woman hotel, the Viper Rooms, Troubador etc etc.
We stopped for the cross valley view to the Hollywood sign.
We had an hour in a downtown food hall/market for lunch.
We had an unescorted hour on the ‘walk of fame’.
We had a half hour at Rodeo drive.

It was a great mix and by the end, we felt that it covered most bases.

We booked the same and was really impressed with Emily, felt like we got to visit places that interested us and not just what you are supposed to be interested in
