With the baby, put an outfit in ziplock bags, that way, you already have socks, shorts, T-shirt etc in each bag.

I find them incredibly useful! I have used them different ways, depending on how much stuff I’m bringing. For heading out I will pack each different colored cube with one type of thing — undies and base layers, trousers, shirts and light sweaters, so on. Makes it very easy to grab what you need or want, especially if staying in a small space and not wanting to totally unpack! For the way home I separate everything based on how clean or dirty it is, or presort it into laundry loads to make it easy when we get home.

Depending on the brand, they DO provide a good amount of compression while still keeping everything organized and together — no as-seen-on-tv bag explosion when you open your suitcase. I also love them for separating everyone’s clothing, since my girls generally share a suitcase, and it’s easier to tell who has what.

I found the same.
I bought them to organise better as like others couldn’t see they’d save space ... but my goodness they do.
Complete game changer . I

In September husband helpfully packed while I was at work and told me we’d have to pay to check a case. He hadn’t used cubes ... half an hour later I’d repacked and the big case was on its way back to the shed .

I find the packing cubes good as it's stopped me overpacking clothes. So saves me knowing who's clothes they are just put them in draw. Great for road trips saves looking though the case.

I used them for the first time last year and am a complete convert! It was so much easier having the clothes 'grouped' together and like others have said could place in drawers on arrival. I bought a variety of brands/types and found the cubes that 'compress' more useful, we all have our own colour set for ease. I've also bought more to organise clothes at home. My husband and daughter think I'm packing cube addicted😁 Hx

I have the Gonex compression set and they are brilliant and do save space compared to regular ones as they compress down.
For Orlando I tend to do a set of clothing for each day which works really well for us.
I’m going to improve them this year with a label on the outside and a contents list!
There was a bit of which cube is that t shirt in etc as I didn’t fully unpack everything.

I love them as I like to be packed days before but my husband is very much a last minute guy. That would fine if we had our own cases but I insist on doing half and half in case one doesn’t turn up. So we can pack cubes at our own pace then sling them in the case at the last minute.

I like them just because they make the case look tidier and they are handy for us , we have the cheap Ikea ones which was a whole set for £5 but they have lasted for five years

Those who don't divide packing across their cases please do it , In years of travelling we have always been lucky with cases .

We have always divided packing between us last year it caught up with us , landed in Phoenix and one of our cases did'nt, we had a tense 24 hrs waiting for it to turn up ... especially tense as the kettle was in it
