Disney Springs Bag Drop From POR

Not sure if this has been asked before. When we were there a couple of years ago, we did the Virgin bag drop at Disney Springs. We were staying at Saratoga Springs and had the trolley cart service where we made our way over to the Springs.

This year we are staying further away at Port Orleans Riverside.

Does anyone know if they also offer the trolley cart service. Or any other form of transport to get our bags over to bag drop as we will not have a car ourselves.

Any info gratefully received!

Cheers

Think the point of Disney Springs bag drop is for guests who aren't staying on Disney property and are out of their accommodation early with no bell services to keep hold of luggage, is it not?

If you wanted to use it you'd need to do your own journey there and back so uber/lyft/minnie van

Seems a bit pointless and expensive if you've got somewhere to store your luggage at your accomodation

Just book Magical Express and store bags in bell services if staying on site. That's what we do.

Personally I wouldn’t bother and just put bags on the Magical Express. You can leave your bags at bell Services if you have to check out.

Beaten to it 😀

We did it from POR - yes you will need Uber or similar. Waste of good park time for us. The buses to parks start much later so you would then need another Uber to a park.

The following visit, we checked out 7am, left our bags with Bell Services and were in MK for rope drop. Much easier.

You have to go back to your resort anyway to get the Magical Express, so it’s not as if it saves you any time. And your ME time is 4 hours before your flight, so you might as well do bag drop at the airport. You will only be hanging around for hours anyway!

OP. You got lucky with the SSR cart as they aren’t supposed to go off Resort.
Notwithstanding that you won’t get one from POR and the boats won’t take luggage either.
Sad to say Bell Services is the way forward in your circumstances.

We use the facility but we have a hire car so it’s easy.
