Alamo max
I got an intermediate suv booked with Dfch.
My receipt and allocated car shows intermediate. I thought it would show free upgrade to standard. Am I missing something. Thanks |

That's odd because I booked with Andy last week. Paid for Alamo Max standard car and upgraded to full size. Did OLCI as usual and it shows full size on the bar code print out.
email from Alamo confirming my OLCI also says full size. Although the first acknowledgement fro Andy did say standard. I'm sure that if you do OLCI it will show the upgrade Mick

As Mick says, once you do OLCI the vehicle category will show as standard.
Did this with mine and it was only after OLCI the the category changed

Andy, is the only difference between Alamo and Alamo max is that you get the free upgrade? Ie can you still do the check in kiosk.
Also are the only differences with your inclusive and gold packages the petrol and more drivers? I will be travelling with my husband and we will share the driving but didn’t know if Alamo covered driver and spouse as standard (ie in the inclusive package) and there fore we wouldn’t need the gold package. If that makes sense! Lol |

I can only answer your first question as I mentioned in my post above.
Yes you can still do OLCI and go straight to the garage and choose your own car at participating airports such as MCO. You don't need to go to the kiosk unless your car is from a higher range that don't have the keys in the car. Mick

Yes, with Alamo and Alamo Max, you can still check in online and skip the desk (if the location offers it).
We have the 1 driver (inclusive) and 4 driver and tank of fuel (Gold) package.. we do have a 2 driver price through an offline system but it only tends to be cheaper during peak season dates... The Alamo inc spouse clause is a bit of a grey area at the moment... There was a post earlier in the week on here where someone had spotted Alamo now include spouse as standard.. Alamo customer service on their FB page have confirmed spouse is included however Alamo trade account manager in the UK knows nothing about this and says its only a deal direct with Alamo. He's now seen the screenshots of the OLCI website where it states spouse is included and its been escalated to Alamo USA to clarify. Unfortunately I'm still waiting and it may be another week or two before I know for sure. |

Brilliant, thanks for that. We will wait and see what the situation is in a couple of weeks. We don’t travel till October so have lots of time yet.

I’m at Sanford. Last year had an Arcadia. Ok car, didn’t mind it.
Year before ford explora. This year Alamo max intermediate. I will ask for an explora again. They ask you what you want when your outside. Hopefully. |
