Mobile Port Orleans 2021

We are looking at going for my 40th birthday next year 22nd Feb - 8th Mar. We have always stayed in the Yacht Club before but next years prices are really high. I just can’t justify spending that much on a hotel that we don’t really spend much time in. Therefore the focus has changed to a stop in Port Orleans French Quarter. What are people’s experiences of this resort?

It's a great resort, as is Riverside. I'll be going to one of them for my 50th in 2021, having been several times before.

We moved from CBR to French Quarter in 2018 (due to all the renovations at cbr at that time) and we loved it! It's a small resort with only 1 bus stop (which was great). Found the buses fairly regular and the app was up to date on bus arrival times so we never waited ages.
Food Court had a good range of choices.
Had a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
Hoping to go back there next year 🤞

We've stayed in both Riverside and French quarter but as a family we all preferred French Quarter by a mile. It's a lovely compact small resort. None of the rooms are too far far away from any of the amenities. Nice food court and pool area. We are looking to book again for 2021 as well

Last year we did FQ and BC. I just wish we had stayed at FQ the whole time.

Why do you say that Sprocket? I'm considering BC because of the balconies & pool.

Not all Beach Club have full balconies but they do at Yacht Club just in case you were not aware.

I've stayed at both, though on different visits, and agree with you. I think FQ is much better than BC. I'm staying at FQ again this year.
