Touring Plans dining finder

We didn’t get two of our ADR wishes today, and we wondered if the Touring Plans dining finder might help. (We had already been intending to get a Touring Plans subscription for room requests etc.)

Will it only be able to search for ADRs at 180 days out, or will it cover the 180+10 that we can currently book?

(We’re hoping to change a BOG breakfast time from 8:45 to an earlier time on 18th Aug, so that one will be within 180 days from tomorrow anyway. We’ve got a couple of 8:05am BOG breakfasts later in the trip anyway, so we’re not too worried about that one.

We’d also like to change our Cali Grill brunch from 2 tables for 2, to 1 table for 4 on 23rd Aug, so that will be outside of the usual 180 days for another few days.)

I've always found TP reservation finder really good. I managed to snag a Beaches and Cream a couple of weeks before we flew out. I wouldn't pay for TP just for that though. You can also now room request on MDE (choose from corner room, high floor, ground floor, etc) so again I wouldn't pay for it for that. I use it for the planning too which is brilliant.

If it's just the reservation you could also try Mouse Dining which is free for alerts I think xx

I've used this lots of times and it works very well. You do have to be quick off the mark when you get the alert but it's definitely a help. I do have a subscription but you actually don't need one to use that tool

Brilliant, thanks. I’ve just signed up for a basic account to get access to the dining finder, so hopefully it will work out. I do feel like we should pay for a subscription anyway, as we’ve used Touring Plans so much during our planning already, especially the hotel guides.

Works really well, I got an email yesterday for an earlier time for BOG and managed to bag it!

Its very good, it's how I've secured both of our California Brunch ADRs. For this trip I couldn't get it at 180 days but got it through TP. As a pp said though you do have to be quick once you get the alert, I picked up an email after 6 minutes once and had missed the reservation!

Yep, I’ve just added DH’s email address as well as my own, because he actually checks his phone when it beeps! Half of the time, I don’t even realise I’ve had a message

The dining alerts part of Touring Plans is free to use, no need to be a member. It does seem to always come up with the slots, but as most guests to WDW are in the Us, I often find the alerts come in the early hours. I have maybe managed to successfully bag about one in every twenty alerts I get, so not high success.
